Drymen is located 16 miles north of Glasgow and 19 miles west of Stirling just minutes from Loch Lomond.
Directions from Glasgow
Taking the A811 from Glasgow, you reach the village of Croftamie. Continuing on after Croftamie for about ? of a mile, you will reach the Endrick Water bridge (about ? of a mile before the village of Drymen).
Continue over the bridge, and about 300yards on the left, you will see the entrance gates to Buchanan Castle Estate (white pillars shown here).
Take this private road (signposted to Buchanan Castle Golf Club) for about ? of a mile. On reaching the Y junction, take the LEFT road (at the wooden sign that says "To Buchanan Castle Golf Club"). Green Shadows is the 6th house on the right. Please note that there is no Bed and Breakfast sign at Green Shadows.
Directions from Stirling
Taking the A811 from Stirling, you reach the Drymen bypass. Continue on past the village of Drymen until you reach a sharp bend, after which you will see the entrance gates to Buchanan Castle Estate (white pillars shown here).
Take this private road (signposted to Buchanan Castle Golf Club) for about ? of a mile. On reaching the Y junction, take the LEFT fork. Green Shadows is the 6th house on the right.
